A cloud you can locate on a map

Sovereignty is a set of facts: where the machine is, who owns it, who can reach it and which law governs the contract. Pilae Cloud gives you a precise answer to each.

You choose the region

Zurich for data that must stay in Switzerland. Frankfurt, Falkenstein, Gravelines, Amsterdam or Helsinki for EU residency. London, Ashburn, Hillsboro, Singapore, Tokyo or Sydney for teams elsewhere. New locations on request.

Dedicated machines

Your apps run on machines assigned to you alone. No neighbour shares your CPU, memory or disks.

Private by default

Apps answer only on a private mesh. One hardened gate on port 443 is the single public entry, and only for the apps you choose.

Built to ISO 27001 controls

Our operations follow ISO 27001 controls, on machines hosted in ISO 27001-certified datacentres in the region you choose.

Backups in a second location

Encrypted backups go to a separate datacentre inside the jurisdiction you picked, with retention set in your contract and a restore test every month.

Watched every minute

Probes check each app every 60 seconds and machine metrics are collected continuously. Alerts go straight to Pilae engineers.

Swiss hosting without the hyperscaler

Many teams moved to SaaS because running servers was not their job. The cost was control: data in a region they did not choose, under a contract governed by a law they did not pick. Pilae Cloud keeps the convenience and returns the control.

You get dedicated machines in the region you choose, operated by Pilae. The Pilae Agent plans every update and waits for your approval. Our engineers watch the probes and answer the alerts. Your contract is with a Swiss company, under Swiss law. Pricing is on request, as our pricing page explains.

Data residency you can put in writing

Your contract names the region for your machines and the region for your backups. Zurich keeps data in Switzerland. Frankfurt, Falkenstein, Gravelines, Amsterdam and Helsinki keep it in the EU. Six more regions, from London to Sydney, serve teams that need them, and our regions page lists all 12. Our data residency page explains what stays where. The data processing agreement sets the terms for processing your data, and the security page sets out the controls.

The same platform on your premises

Pilae Cloud runs the same recipes, console and agent as an on-premise deployment. You can keep sensitive workloads on your own hardware and run the rest with us, operated as one estate. When you are ready, start with a scoping call.

From signature to running apps

  1. Choose

We agree the apps, the region, the machine sizes and the service level, and put them in the contract.

  2. Provision

Dedicated machines are set up in your region, hardened and joined to your private mesh.

  3. Deploy

Each app is installed from a tested recipe, connected to your single sign-on and backed up before first use.

If you are leaving a SaaS product, we move your data across and check it with your team before the switch.

  5. Operate

The Pilae Agent and our engineers keep every app patched, backed up and monitored.

Questions

Where exactly is my data stored in Pilae Cloud?

In the region you choose from 12: Zurich in Switzerland; Frankfurt, Falkenstein, Gravelines, Amsterdam or Helsinki in the EU; or London, Ashburn, Hillsboro, Singapore, Tokyo or Sydney worldwide. Your contract names the region for both your machines and your backups, and your data does not move without your written approval.

Is Pilae Cloud a sovereign cloud?

Your contract is with Pilae SA, a Swiss company, under Swiss law. Your machines are dedicated to you and sit in ISO 27001-certified datacentres in the region you choose. A workload placed in a US region is stored in the US and subject to US law on data held there; for Swiss or EU data, choose Zurich or an EU region.

Is Pilae ISO 27001 certified?

Pilae operates to ISO 27001 controls, and Pilae Cloud runs in ISO 27001-certified datacentres. Pilae SA does not claim a certification of its own. Your security review receives the controls and the evidence behind them.

Are my machines shared with other customers?

No. Each customer gets dedicated machines. Your apps, databases and files never share a CPU, memory or disk with another organisation.

How much does Pilae Cloud cost?

Pilae Cloud is priced on request. The quote depends on the apps, the machine sizes, the region and the service level, and follows a short scoping call.
